Our Story

Aivian was founded by Hameed Adigun and Viv Ahmun with a simple belief: technology must serve people, not the other way around.

For years, we've been helping organisations navigate AI and digital transformation. But we saw a critical gap: Black and Global Majority communities were consistently left out of AI conversations, both the opportunities and the decisions being made.

In 2025, we launched Black AI Futures as our social impact arm to address this directly. We didn't just talk about it. We went straight to Parliament.

Our first parliamentary event in June 2025, hosted by Dawn Butler MP and Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, brought together policymakers, technologists, academics, and community leaders. Since then, we've built formal partnerships with two All-Party Parliamentary Groups on AI, been represented at the UN AI for Good Summit in Geneva, and we're now actively shaping UK legislation, including the Online Harms Bill and Civil Rights Bill.

This work of consulting with 500+ community members, advising MPs, and training government leaders has strengthened our core mission at Aivian: helping organisations build AI systems that work and do good. The rigour, ethics, and strategic insight from our parliamentary and community work now informs every client engagement.
